Wild Beasts

So, I'm going to see Wild Beasts in a month or so and I realised I hadn't really listen to the new album... Well, now I am!

Its better than I was expecting and I really like the subtlety of it.

The other day, I stumbled across this band on Twitter (of all things).

Immediately I fell in love with them.

The only downside is I can't find anywhere to buy the CD for a reasonable price and my spotify plays are going to run out soon :(

Art Burt - Portsmouth, Wedgewood Rooms

Last night I made the dangerous commute from Southampton to Portsmouth for the good cause of seeing Art Brut.

Having not seen them since Glastonbury 2009 I was pretty excited to say the least.

Eddie Argos proved he still has what it takes, jump kicking along to songs and even entering the crowd to make everyone sit down whilst he told us about Modern Art.

I know some people who aren't fans of the newest album but I for one am.
